Vincent left for London today. This will be a pretty long trip, from London he will head to Washington DC, well as least he will be back in time for my cousin's wedding.

I received an email from my dear friend Donna with photos of her beautiful gardens. The email brought back memories of her coming to Singapore for the first time some 24 years ago and also of the time I spent at her lovely house at Lakeside, Chicago, and the many long walks I had around the neighbourhood and the hikes with her, her son Evan and her nephew Adam.

Someone new has entered our eternal home above.

The heavenly gate has opened wide

Life is about making choices.
