No more "maybe I should exercise more so that the blood pressure will go down and I don't have to pop the pill", no more maybe, I just started on high blood pressure medication, which I have been putting off for the past year. I did my ecg last week, had my blood test on Tuesday and started on Norvasc and hope for the best.
I dislike having to rely on chemical to regulate my health, but I have no choice as I risk damage to my heart and kidneys.

Vincent left for Kuwait on Friday, his 8th trip (or was it 9th trip) to Kuwait this year. He will be back on Wednesday (Min's econ H3 paper is also on Wednesday) and we are leaving for KK on Friday monday, to be followed by HK/Macau December 7 to 14.
I was telling Jer just the other day that the HK/Macau trip would bring back memories of our honeymoon when we went to Bangkok/HK/Macau/Pattaya. So only the Thailand leg is missing in this trip.
I am planning to bring the girls to Temple Street this time, they had been to HK numerous times, but none of them have been to Temple Street. It would be quite an experience for them. We always talk about visiting outlying islands (we have only been Lamma island for seafood) but we always end up shopping instead.

Does Jer look like me? She said she has no choice but to acknowledge that we are definitely Mother and daughter. Pa said she looked exactly like me when she was born.

Ti and Ai Ling came by and brought William home this afternoon. Last night, with Min studying at Selene's house and Jer sleeping over at Royal Plaza after her prom the house was so empty. We only had William for company.

Min still have 3 more h2 papers (tomorrow and next week) and h3 econs on Nov 26, then we are off to KK. We have never been to KK so I am quite excited about the trip.

Excerpts from Qi's email :

Hi Mumsie,

did you manage to sell Eng Kong? I know Pa's feeling emotional (not quite the same as emo) about it, I'm just nostalgic - you have good memories of the place and talking about it triggers back all those fun times running about the playground, playing sylvanian and other random made up games etc. but then I had fun moving on to another stage at Yong An and now over here - it's good whilst it lasted but you shouldn't overstay too long at one stage. Then again, I am young so I can say this, I suppose.

Anyway yes it's kinda cold right now, I can see my breath when I talk and the roads are frosted. It's about 0-7, usually around 4-5, maybe 9 in the afternoons and then 0at night. Occasionally minus 1 or 0, and last week there was hail. Strangely enough it does not feel that cold. Might be because I've acclimated, but really i think it's because there's no wind whatsoever these past few days - wind makes helluva difference.

I love my walk in wardrobe.

I collected these seashells from my diving trip at Great Barrier Reef!

We finally got a buyer for Eng Kong and I signed the option with very mixed feelings this morning. Much as we like the house and it does brings back many fond memories, but head ruling over heart, it is the right decision to sell it.

Here are some pictures from the id magazine which feature the house, somehow there is no pictures of the girls bedroom, I will try to find one from our albums.

Jer got back her results, she did very well and had very interesting remarks from her teachers.
Min, on the other hand is sick just as the exams are starting. Lets hope she gets well soon.
I have completed a few pieces of calligraphy for the exhibition and wrote "long" (dragon) and "jing" (quiet) in 4 different styles, seal, clerical, semi-cursive and cursive.
Wichit has agreed to buy 3 pieces, and Chiang 1. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to charity.
