We are leaving for St. Andrews on Sunday. The departure this Sunday will mark a milestone in Qi's life. She is embarking onto the next journey without us by her side and we pray and she will learn to be responsible for herself and grow up to be a matured young lady. She will be travelling and touring Europe during her short breaks and hope to get an internship in London as well as study French in Lyon during her summer holidays, so, after her 3 weeks return to Singapore during the Chinese New Year, I am not sure when she be back. Given her aspiration and dream to work overseas, she might not be back for a long time. I can understand why Vincent is so uptight. He is trying very hard not to show too much anxiety about her leaving.

I am looking forward to the one week's stay at the Lake District after we settle Qi at St. Andrews. We are booked at this lovely cottage at Grasmere. I hope there will be a nice spell of autumnal weather so that we can explore the area.

"There is no real need to use your car if you are a walker visiting England's Lake District. Simply park up your car at the Hotel for the duration of your stay and set off on foot - you'll be rewarded with some breathtaking views and keep fit at the same time!"

Qi,

Daddy is going to miss you but you have to take care of yourself, stay safe, do well and come back one day to see your old man.
