Jer did well for her mid year too, although her GPA was below her expectations. Her expectations are very high which is good as she will push herself to greater heights. But she caught a very potent flu bug and was home bound for the past week.
I have started booking tickets for Qi's St Andrew trip in September. There is no direct flight to Edinburgh and we have to stop over at London. Am toying with the idea of flying via Manchester instead of London to avoid the luggage getting lost at Heathrow airport. We only have 4 months to prepare for her departure and there are so much to be done. Drove her to NTU last Wednesday with mixed feelings. She is very happy and relaxed now, learning French, German, Spanish and just registered for Japanese. I was supposed to learn Japanese with her but timing clashes with the Turkey trip. She hopes to continue with her French at St Andrew and has more or less made up her mind to double in philosophy and economics instead of philosophy and history.
Vincent somehow is very worried about her going away. I guess he has to learn how to let go, she is 19.
